100% portal-dependent. Every lead a price comparison.

Satvik Techzone came to Big Leap with a problem that's common across Indian auto ancillary manufacturers — and almost invisible from inside the business. Their pipeline was active. The enquiries were coming in. But almost all of them were from IndiaMart, and almost all of them were going nowhere.

The core issue wasn't the volume of leads. It was the quality. IndiaMart buyers are price-shopping across multiple suppliers simultaneously. By the time a prospect contacts a supplier through the platform, they've already messaged four or five others. The conversation starts with "what's your rate?" and ends with whoever quotes lowest. Close rates were below 6%. The sales team was spending most of its time responding to enquiries that would never convert.

The second problem was strategic. Satvik's real target was Tier 1 and Tier 2 OEM procurement heads — the buyers who make long-term supply agreements, provide volume consistency, and value quality over lowest price. These buyers don't use IndiaMart. They evaluate suppliers through LinkedIn research, Google searches, and referral from trusted contacts. Satvik had no presence in any of these channels.

Portal leads with no conversion

IndiaMart enquiries were coming in but converting below 6%. Every conversation started with price and ended there — no relationship, no pipeline, no repeat business.

No brand presence for OEM evaluation

Tier 1 OEM procurement heads research suppliers on LinkedIn and Google before engaging. Satvik had no professional website, no LinkedIn presence, and no content that communicated their capability to this audience.

Sales team doing marketing's job

Without credibility assets, every sales call started from zero — establishing who Satvik was, what they did, and why they were credible. The sales team was doing the full job of both marketing and sales on every conversation.

Build the brand. Then build the pipeline.

The first thing we established at the start of the Satvik engagement was sequencing. Lead generation without brand authority produces cold leads. We needed to build the credibility infrastructure first — so that when outreach reached a procurement head, they could verify Satvik's capability immediately. Outreach without that infrastructure wastes effort and contact quota.

1

ICP definition and OEM account mapping

We started with a precise ICP — not "auto ancillary manufacturers" but a specific definition: Tier 1 and Tier 2 OEM suppliers and procurement heads in NCR and key automotive hubs with established production capacity and active vendor evaluation cycles. We then built a verified target account list of named OEM companies, with procurement heads and plant managers identified by name and LinkedIn profile.

2

Brand building and website development

Satvik needed a website that a Tier 1 procurement head could visit and immediately understand — what they make, for whom, to what quality standard, and with what credentials. We built a new website with clear capability communication, IATF certification positioning, and an existing client reference framework that established credibility before the first meeting.

3

LinkedIn outreach to OEM decision-makers

We built personalised LinkedIn connection and DM sequences targeting procurement heads and plant managers at the identified OEM accounts. Every message referenced something specific to the recipient's company or role — not a generic template. Connection acceptance rates and reply rates both significantly exceeded industry benchmarks for the manufacturing sector.

4

Cold email infrastructure and sequences

Parallel cold email outreach to the same ICP using dedicated sending domains, verified direct email addresses, and multi-step personalised sequences. LinkedIn and email running simultaneously meant each prospect saw Satvik's name across two channels — increasing credibility and reply probability on both.

5

Reply management and meeting booking

All positive replies from LinkedIn and email were handled by Big Leap's team — follow-up messages, scheduling, and pre-meeting information sharing. Satvik's Director received calendar notifications when a meeting was booked. The coordination was entirely off their plate.

Pipeline grew 4.1x. IndiaMart dependency dropped to zero.

By Month 3, Satvik's Director was having conversations with Tier 1 OEM procurement heads who had never heard of them six weeks earlier. By Month 6, the pipeline had grown 4.1x compared to the same period the previous year — not from more volume, but from significantly better quality conversations with the right buyers.

4.1x
Pipeline growth

Qualified pipeline value grew 4.1x over the 6-month engagement compared to the same period the previous year — driven by higher-quality OEM conversations, not higher lead volume.

23
Direct OEM Meetings

23 consistent, qualified meetings booked directly with Tier 1 and Tier 2 OEM procurement heads and plant managers who had never previously engaged with Satvik.

3
OEM Contracts Signed

3 major recurring supply contracts signed with OEM buyers sourced entirely through the outbound program, bypassing third-party aggregators completely.

38%
Cold Email Open Rate

Achieved a 38% verified email open rate across 380 targeted decision-makers through tailored copy and dedicated secondary domains.

"The quality of meetings was in a different league from anything IndiaMart ever delivered. We were finally talking to people who actually had the budget and authority to buy — and they already knew who we were before the call."

— Director, Satvik Techzone

What we built for Satvik

This engagement combined brand building, digital infrastructure, and outbound pipeline into one coordinated program — each element reinforcing the others.

Brand Building Website Development LinkedIn Outreach Cold Email System Social Media CRM Setup Reply Management ICP Mapping

The sequencing was deliberate — brand and website first, then outreach. This ensured that when a procurement head received a LinkedIn message or cold email and looked up Satvik, what they found immediately established credibility. Outreach without that infrastructure produces significantly lower reply rates.
